Know your material and you will be the "expert" for your given audience. Be sure to rehearse and use a spell checker for and written material and or overheads you may present. Get a good night sleep the evening before and eat breakfast. Arrive early to make sure everything is set up properly. When you present, start on time and talk with enough volume so everyone in the room can hear you. If you present overheads, talk about the slide and avoid reading it word for word; people can read it for themselves.
Finally if all else fails imagine your audience in their underwear!

Say to yourself "I'm doing this presentation today because it will get me closer to where i want to be tommorow." Be honest with yourself and get a paper and pencil, and write down the reasons you feel self-conscoius. Uncomfortable with the way you look? Afraid of critisizm? It's your life, you are who you think you are. Skrew everyone else. You judge yourself more than anyone else does, trust me. And most people could care less what you say, you're not the big thing in their day, but for some reason, the presentation is a big thing in your day.

Try to remember that if you are confident in yourself everything will be better but if your no good at that then ....
Remember that there are people in your class that are probably just as nervous as you.
No matter what you say or do wrong there will always be one person that loves it and if people judge you for how nervous you are it doesn't matter.
If you express to your teacher that you are nervous about your presentation she/he can probably give you some pointer because they do it everyday (most teachers are very willing to help a student that asks for help politely)
make sure that your loud enough and if your not comfortable with looking at people don't. Look at the back wall or at your teacher.
Looking great always helps, try to think of a hairstyle that you think looks best on you and wear your favorite jeans. The key is to be comfortable with how you look.
And make sure you smile. If someone laughs, laugh with them because it will make you feel alot better to laugh at yourself
Remember nobody is perfect and will all have our individual weakness, just try and get through
Have fun and try to enjoy yourself
Rise to the Challange
Good luck

Look at it logically – what is the worst that could happen? You wake up late, rush out the door without dressing, and wind up giving the presentation in your underwear (or even less!). The chances of that happening are pretty slim, so nothing that bad can possibly happen.
Be yourself, be calm, and speak to the attendees as if you were having a conversation with them. If you can lead with a joke to break the tension, that would be even better ("Did you hear the one about the dyslexic that walked into a bra?" or "Did you hear about the magic tractor? It turned into a field…")
Good luck!

Yeah I know, it is nerve-racking. But be very well prepared. Understand and have control to every word you say and get ready to answer all the questions. And even if you get stuck, take a minute..and think back, it's okay. Look at the back wall, and have eye contact to your audience once in a while. It's good to go earlier cuz you wanna get it over with. Keep a strong, clear tone. Also, interact with the audience such as asking questions, etc. Trust me, if you follow what I've said, you'll get a good mark. ;)

ok, don't worry.
1. breathe. think of how many other kids in the class don't want to do one either. there are other people who know how you feel & you're not alone.
2. you're only going to be up there for a few minutes. i don't know how long, but chances are people will completely forget if you mess up or whatever. a lot of other people have to present too all throughout life. people won't be mean & judge you.
3. wear a super cute outfit (but nothing you fidget with!). nothing helps more than a bit of confidence!
main thing: just act confident, even if you're not. it'll look a lot better if you think you're doing well.

practice makes perfect.u've to do this practice always before ur presentation. breathe deeply or try to sweat urself in order to keep warmth during ur presentation.look up to the ceiling n don't face them w'd prevent u from self consciousness.u must always remember that u r assumed u r facing n talking with ur parents.
best wishes.

i was a communications and spanish major in college, and a news anchor as well on our tv station. that means a lot of public speaking.
what i do is just pretend that everyone im talking to is my best friend, and that they really are excited to listen.
also, i just take a huge deep breath and tell myself out loud, "you are going to be awesome. you know what youre doing. everyone wants to see how great you are."
sounds really stupid but it helped me.
dont worry, cause everyones gonna be in your spot doing their presentation at one time. you are all in it together and youre not alone.

Just carry yourself with confidence. Go throughout your head 'I can do this, I'm great' over and over again. Confidence is key and when you win over the class, you'll always know that.
