Whenever I wear my leather boots or pumps, my feet end up sweating and/or smelling. Someone told me "just wear socks" but my feet are wide, and my calfs are bigger so I already have issues with space so when I wear socks they get SO tight...anyone have advice?

You may need bigger shoes; failing that try some foot powder and sheer hose. Starch based foot powder may help with the moisture and sheer hose are not as thick as socks and can give some room. There are even sheer hose available with cotton soles which may also absorb moisture. Charcoal shoe inserts are also very good for odor control.

I do wear socks and mine still do it. It's just the product of heat and feet enclosed in shoes. It drives me nuts. I don't have an answer but will be watching this question to see if SOMEONE does!

Wear anklets or those really low socklets that look like little slippers (I cannot remember what they are called). It might help a little with the sweat. I wear those with lo-top sneakers all the time so people can see my anklet.

My family goes deer hunting a lot and they wear spray on deodarant on their feet to keep them from sweating. (if you're feet sweat when you're outside in the winter the sweat can freeze...)

I guess that might healp you. :) Good luck.

Wearing nylons works for my girl! You wont have a space problem either. Try it!
