It depends upon whether you're looking for the cheapest product, the best value, or the highest performing game set...
I would choose the PS3.

I say a Wii because it is innovative and its the cheapest of the next-gen consoles. Graphics and processors can only take you so far. In the end it is the gameplay that makes you want to play games.

It is mostly based on your budget.Wii is more child friendly,Wii games are normally Zelda,Donkey Kong,etc.Xbox 360 is better but PS3 is the best for die hard gamers.

If you want a cheaper, fun console - buy the wii
if you want better graphics, bluray - buy the ps3
P.s. wait until next year to buy the ps3 they will have better games and all problems will be fixed.
