Hey, I am in your same situation. My friends told this guy that I liked him on Halloween, I though I would die at school the next day. Well, what do you know, he came up to me and asked me if we would like to hang out sometime, and he complimented me, and asked for my email and phone number! It's the rumors that are getting to you, and if he said that you are pretty, that's a compliment girl! If he likes a girl already, beat her at her own game, get him to notice you by becoming more appealing! I hope your problem works out like mine did. Also, don't freak out. I didn't and now we are best friends! So, hope he likes you in all, and once again don't freak out or something bad might happen.

Look at it this way. We are ALL social animals. That is, we need each other. People are happier just being beside each other. That is why we go to the movies, theme parks, stores. To be around other people!
When you go to school, talk if you want to. Hello works great. If you have nothing to say, shake his hand and tell him your name. That is painless. You do not have to have long conversations, that will come later. Just be beside each other for the first meet, first day. See if you are compatable as time goes by.

What's to be embarrassed about? So you like him. The world isn't going to end because he knows. Whether you like him or not just go to school tomorrow and pretend like nothing happened. Go about your business as ususal. Everything will be fine. If your girlfriend says anything tell her the next time she wants to go blabbing your business to ask you first. Take a deep breath, release. Everything is going to be okay.

it will be okay..the first time you see him will probably be the worst because you are so shy..just get pass that and everything will fall into place..and if you noticed him i am sure that he has noticed you too..so he may not know you by name..he probably knows you by site...even though your friend should not have done that...just maybe ..she did you a favor...and broke the ice for you guys...get up 30 minutes earlier and look your best..and hold your head up high...it will be over by the end of the day...good luck..he will probably be flattered that you noticed him

Don't misunderstand, but you seem like you're hyperventilating or something. Slow down, collect your thoughts, centre yourself and be who the hell you really are. Here's a tip: you're 14 so just imagine all the things out there waiting for you, but just remember look around you, really look around you and think about what YOU really do and don't want, and once having decided, stick to it!!!
