Iran's president is a politician. He's actually quite smart- these things play well in Iran, and get him elected.
In other arenas, like at the UN, he's actually a voice of reason.

Yup, I agree. He is denying the memory of the millions of Jews, disabled, Polish, & others who were slaughtered because they weren't the right type for his "perfect" race or they saw thru the rhetoric before he acted. He, by denying the Holocaust, is intenting to repeat history. He wants to destroy Israel & ultimately, the US because he feels that we are infidels. He sees freedom as a danger because Islam means "submission," & we don't submit very well with our backs to the wall.

Many Germans, the neo Nazi's, and the KKK deny the holocaust, too.
There is so much evidence of it, including living survivors, SS records, German film, and soldiers still living who liberated those camps, that they can deny it all they want, for all the good it will do.
