As pontential dating material no. One a personally level i know many of them as I live next to a recovery house. Mostly they are good people with baggage. I employe them and befriend them to some degree but am careful not to get too close. Relapse to some degree is pretty common. In short they are people like any other and deserve our respect and compassion.

No, I don't, I am a reformed alchoholic and I see nothing attractive about it or them. I would much rather talk to someone that is sober and get to know the REAL person, not the drunk.
