With my first I was in labor less than 4 hours with my second I was in labor less than 2 hours. They say the second and later labors go faster than the first and that was true for me.
My Sister in law on the other hand was in labor for 13 hours with her first and only child.

my water broke while watching Friends on a Friday night. That was around 11pmish and I had back labor for several hours and I couldn't sleep and i didn't give birth to the precious baby boy till the next day Saturday around 2pm
so I would say 15 hours?

I was in labor 24 hours before they took my son C sect. THey discovered that my pelvis was to small to deliver naturally. So I never went into labor with my daughter.

My first child was a very long 23 hour labour.
My second a child was 16 hrs and it was more intense and painful than the first!!

My son was preemie and I was young so I didnt know I was in labor....I guess it was 14 hours from the first contraction but I was at the hospital for 45 minutes when he was born :)

I was really lucky, I was only in labor for 6 hours.

Start to end 1 hour and 23 minutes was the longest. We have to run to the hospital. I go from 0 to 10 in a heartbeat.. Hurts too...lol

36 hours w/ my son & 17 with my daughter.
My daughter has 3 kids, her 1st about 4 hours, sitting in the labor room playing rummy & watching tv.
Her 2nd was premature & she was in labor for about the same (again watching tv) & her 3rd premature as well.
He was breach & had cord around his neck so he was c-section within an hour.
So she didn't get to watch tv that time.

1st child, 18 hours followed by emergency c-section. 2nd child, no labor repeat c-section.
