I've only watched one season of 4400 and liked it feeling it had potential. I own every season of X-files and thought overall it to be a first rate show. I'm not making any judgements yet as I have not seen the two other seasons of 4400 but I am curious as to the opinion of others.
On a tangetial note, you must admit there are close similarities between the two shows.

Definetely The 4400. It's awesome. But if you haven't watched the last seasons, you have no idea what promicin is!! Or how Lily died! Or- OR!! Or that Jordan Collier was shot and killed! Or that he is now alive again!! You have so much to learn!
