I see funny answers on here and everyone calls them names and gives the thumbs down. I understand why hateful comments are treated that way, but why do comments with a bit of levity get treated that way? Is this just a sad sour group of people or doesn’t anyone have a sense of humor anymore? Ha - ha, now I bet I’ll get nothing but hate messages… which will prove my point.

Wow - I’m really (happily) surprised that there are so many of us this feel this way. It would be nice if we had a “save favorite contributor” button so we could exchange funny comments… er, we don’t have anything like that do we?

Maybe its cause my friends little wiener dog Poop'd in one of my new shoes two days ago!! Who thinks that's funny!!?? Cause I sure don't!!.........sorry bout that..........anywho......I agree with ya here people are a lil' quick to slap that little "thumbs down" on ya. Best scenario, You have a question like "I cheated on my boyfriend now he won't return my call what should I do?" and John Doe says, "Quick being such a Whore! or don't quick being a whore and come by sometime!", and people give that a thumbs down....I mean wtf that is funny and more than likely heart felt. People should be as helpful as they can....and if they can't be helpful be FUNNY!!!

ps The John Doe scenario was fabricated
pss The dog dump'n in my shoe NOT fabricated

I agree but remember there are people from all over the world here. And some don't get the joke when people answers their questions. Just a culture different.

We're trying to have a serious discussion and you want humor?

Did you hear the one about the chicken that only went halfway across the road?

A sense of humor is not the same across the board.

What you find funny someone else may find it mean.

The basic answer to your questions is....we're all different.

I rarely give SERIOUS answers. I amuse myself on here, and that's pretty much all that matters. Only awesome people are going to laugh at my comments, anyway.

Hey I didn't loose my since of humor, it just ran away one day, I thought about posting a reward for it but I figured it wasn't worth that much.

I think because people don't have to show their faces, they feel free to be ugly instead of helpful or truthful.
