I am in a bind this weekend. I am in a 14 team league with a Basic 1 point for every 10 yards rushing and 3 points for every TD. I am in the semi finals with one major weakness. My 2nd RB position is horrible at best. I also have no drop/adds left as I used my last one on Ciatrik Fason last week.

My choices are between Laurence Maroney (hurt), Kevan Barlow (hurt/not getting any time), Ciatrick Fason (not the replacement to Taylor I had hoped) & Brandon Jacobs.

I am leaning toward Jacobs if unless Maroney is playing. Can anyone see another option?

I have been week at this spot all year and actually added and dropped Drew Jones earlier this season (of course right before his breakout game).

My other starters are strong : Brees, Larry Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Donald Driver, Colston and Mare.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Well the solid consensus of the answers is that Jacobs is your choice if Maroney is out. I agree yet disagree. Jacobs is by far your best option even over a healthy Maroney. He is feeling winded because of the lengthy season compared to the college season. Jacobs will not get yards but you can bank on his touchdowns. I too was in a spot with Maroney and had to start Barlow which came and bite me in the rear. Defiantly Jacobs who has 400 yards and 8 TDs. Maroney has 630 and 4 TDs plus one receiving. Maroney stats are better than Jacobs but those are from earlier in the season. Best of luck hope I helped a little.

Deffinetly go Jacobs unless Maroney is healthy then go Maroney for sure and I think he might be back for this weeks game.

I am with you on this one in that going with Jacobs is your best option even if morney is good to go because Jacobs will get you TD where morney may get you both but he splits to many carries with Dillon
