I had an affair with a woman who later became my business partner (while still in the affair). The affair ended over a year ago, but still becomes a problem from time to time. Can we ever let it go or will it always be an issue?

Unfortunately if you have an affair with someone.. its really hard to move on and be friends after that. you will always be thinking of what happened and you will always think what if? It makes friendship extremely hard. if its still a buisness relationship it needs to stay strictly that. no friendship involved. because even with a friendship things can be mis-read and can just bring up memories of the past. and if your heart isnt there it needs to be just about work and thats it. its a struggle when there is a friendship.. so its best just to avoid it..

I am unable to stay friends with a man I WANTED to have an affair with, but he would not. It made me too crazy to be around him so I had to cut off contact. My issue is I am in love with him. I'm guessing if there are problems you and your partner still have some kind of feelings. So you cannot be friends.

it will always be an issue and you started a business with this woman? omg did you make a big mistake . If it is still a problem then you need to realize it was a mistake and one of you must leave the business. good luck and god bless and happy holidays.

It will always be an issue. How hard would it be for you to get out of the partnersip?Better cut your losses now.Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Also, better be upfront with your wife before the ex-mistress decides to spill the beans.PS-It may also be a good idea to keep your pants zipped.

It will always be an issue you cant really not be bothered by it. The only way is that you dont come in contact with the person if possible transfer to a new department where you dont see ech other. other than that there will always b trouble

I wouldn't know what to tell you but i do know that when something like that happens and if it happens for a while it can get complicated but if it was like once or twice and nothing more then i guess it's ok depending where you and the woman are at and make it clear to her what you want out of this realtionship

It all depends on your way of thinking. All thing are possible. If you can let it go and still feel content then it does not matter how she may feel or act. You would be at peace.

It will always be an issue. You have to marry her. At least that what my mom says.
