how much memory have you got in your puter? best results is 512 meg,,,,, if you have 256 meg then some memory could be down. when windows boots up it puts programs in memory if any memory is down then you'll get error messages like this

This is the first time I've heard of this. Heres what you can try. Try going into the bios ( by pressing F2 as soon as your computer starts up) and press and hold alt and tap E ad F on the keyboard. Hit escape and save changes and exit. Then if this does not work, reseat the memory in your computer to see if any one of the chips is defective. Then call the manufacturer and have them replaced.

This can happen for many different reasons, and there a lot of unknowns.

If this is happening when you're running a certain program, try reinstalling it. If it's happening in general you may want to consider reinstalling Windows from scratch after getting the things off of your HD that you need or want.

Crashes that bring up memory references really have so many unknowns that there's not a general solution to it.
