Right now the PS3 is a disappointing dud. The major game review magazines haven't been kind to it. On paper it's technically better, but it just hasn't delivered much in the gameplay experience.

The 360 is mediocre, but seems to have better games- which isn't surprising since they've had a year to develop titles for it.

I guess it's really too early to say, but I haven't seen anything announced from Sony that comes close to the excitement around HALO 3's release next year.

Definitely ps3

Rigtht now 360 has better games because it has had a head start and comparing same games on different consoles make it clear that 360 is better. But developers need more time to work on a ps3 title than xbo 360, thats why developers dont use the full power of the ps3. Even EA said they were only using 20% of the ps3's power. Ps3 is going to have games as good as halo 3, remeber killzone from E3. The developer (guerilla games) states it costs more than 16 million euros(21 million dollars) and 120 developers to make. phil harrison of sony said that "some parts of the game surpasses the quality seen at E3". Go to youtube.com and search for killzone ps3 trailer.
It has bluray. right now they go for about $1000 so its a great deal

Ps3 is going to be a home media center, because other than playing games you can store videos, music and pictures. You also have a linux software download so you can access the computer(offline content) and internet where you can download other stuff for the ps3.

also free online play with up to max. of 40 players on resistance and all features of xbox live for free.

wait till next year and you will see that the ps3 has better graphics, no more glitches, and smoother gameplay than the 360.

Anyone that says PS3 doesn't have both. On paper the PS3 is more powerful. And in a year or two it may prove to be an advantage. But right now, today, there is no reason to own a PS3 instead of a 360. Gears of War is the best looking game to date, and that's on 360. Until next year, both Rainbow Six Vegas and Oblivion are only available on 360. Gamespot did a nice little article with side by side comparisons of all the games on both consoles. Only Tiger Woods 07 was determined to be better on the PS3. You can find that article here: http://www.gamespot.com/features/6162742/index.html?tag=topslot;title;1&om_act=convert&click=topslot

Next year there will be more reasons to own a PS3. There will also be more reasons to own a 360. It really just comes down to what games you want to play. Would you rather play Resistance Fall of Man, or Gears of War? Metal Gear Solid 4 or Halo 3? Final Fantasy XIII or Mass Effect?

This time next year it will very hard to choose just one of them.

In terms of hardware performance and quality, I believe that the PS3 is better than the 360.

In terms of experience, well, it depends what you want. The 360 has many title now and the experience is quite nice. The device is quiet, the wireless controllers are great, and the multimedia features are very interesting.

Don'I haven't played with the PS3 but I'm sure the games will be superb.

With both the 360 and the PS3, the games will bet better over time. Can't wait to see Halo 3 on the 360...

Note sure? Get both! :)
