Circumference of a circle = 2 x pi x r

Volume of a cylinder = pi x r^2 x h

Where r = radius and h = height

Circumference of a Cirle = 2 x pi x r

Volume of a Cylinder = Area of Base x Height
which is pi x r^2 x h

where
pi = 3.14.... etc
r = radius of circle / base of cylinder
h = height of cylinder

circumference is 2 times pi times radius

volume for a cylinder is 2 times pi times radius times radius times the length of the cylinder. (basically the area of the circle times the length of the cylinder)

PEASE BE UPON YOU,,,
YOUR QUESTION IS "What is the formula for circumference and volume?"

(What is the formula for circumference OF CIRCLE...)

-USING ANGELS (ORDINARY LEVEL MATH)

THE FORMULAE FOR THE CIRCUMFERENCE IS:-

>>> 3.141592654 * DIAMETER <<<

WERE:-

( *) MEANS MULTIPLIED BY
(3.141592654) THE VALUE OF (PI)

BY SYMBOLES >>> PI*D (DIAMETER)<<<
OR >>> 2*PI*R(RADIUS) (HENCE D = 2R)

THE DIAMETER OF THE CIRCLE IS 2 TIEMS THE RADIOUS ( THE DISTANCE FROM THE CENTER OF THE CIRCLE TO THE CIRCUMFERENCE - THE LINE OF THE CIRCLE -

(and volume? OF A cylinder...)

USING ANGELS ORDINARY LEVEL MATH...

VOLUME = PI (3.141592654) * (R*R) * THE HEIGHT

WERE
*= MULTIPLIED BY
PI =3.141592654 (LOOKS LIKE AN ITALIC R)
(R*R) = RADIOUS SQUARED(DONT HAVE IN MY COMPUTER LOOKS LIKE A SMALL "2" LOCATED UPWARD.

>>>>>>>>>>>>SO IN CONCLUTION<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
CIRCUMFERENCE = 2 * PI * R
OR = PI * D

------------------------------------------
VOLUME OF CYLINDER= PI * (R*R) * H
------------------------------------------

WERE

PI =3.141592654
R=RADIOUS
H=HIEGHT OF THE CYLINDER
D=DIAMETER EQUALS 2R

for circle

let d=diameter of circle
r=radius of circle
and C =circumference
pi=3.141592654

C=pi*d=2*pi*r

for cylinder

V=volume
r=radius
d=diameter
h=height

V=pi*(d^2/4)*h=pi*r^2*h

i hope that this helps
