I am not jumping to any conclusions, or even thinking I am pregnant, or even asking if I am pregnant. This is just a question about CM (cervical mucus) usually before my period is due I am dry down there or there is very minimal CM but I am 2 days away from my expected period, and the CM is very much increased as heavy as the ewcm but a off white color, but as I said there is alot of it, my cervix is remaining high and closed and somewhat soft still, what I am wondering is if some of you have gone through this and what was the outcome, I am just afraid that I might have an infection, or maybe this is my month, or maybe there is something else wrong that I don't know about. * I do not have any kind of STD I have been with the same person for 4 years and I get tested every year so it is not that
* There is not itching or any kind of unusual smell coming from down there just an increase in cm that I have not experienced before.

I'm thinking I'm pregnant right now, and I didn't have that kind of mucus around the time I should have gotten my period.
BUT I did get it one month (a few cycles ago) when I ovulated twice. I saw it on my temperature chart and used an ovulation predictor test that day ... caught an LH surge. My cervix also stayed closed through the second ovulation.
This was heavy and everything, but a little less slippery than the EWCM I'd had with the first O. Not much different. It started four days before I got my period, or 12 DPO.
I'd say go get an OPK and test. If it's a second ovulation you might still catch the LH surge. That's the only time I've experienced it, but it's possible.
Oh, and my EWCM is normally off-white, as was this second ovulation's. Sorry I can't help more with the color.

It could be a yeast infection or bacterial vagninosis...I have had both and no symptoms that were bothersome...no itching or burning, just a discoloration and increase in discharge.
That said, there are a number of changes that occur when you've concieved. My CM when I found out I was pregnant stayed white and heavy, not like ovulatory CM but like preovulatory...in otherwords, not stretchy egg white, just heavier and creamier (sorry, TMI)...My cervix also stayed higher up instead of dropping as it normally does when I'm about to get my period. I had so much CM around that time I kept expecting my period and it never was there when I checked.
This comes from lots of personal observation and charting, since I had some difficulty conceiving. Every woman is different though. I would wait until you are late, test for pregnancy, and if it is neg. go in to see if you have some sort of infection. Good luck!

This fluids down there can be many things.....
First of all, it isnt your period. You know that menstruations come together with blood...
The best answer I can give you is that you have a YEAST infection, also known as Candidiasis. These yeasts are the same that make bread grow. Try to smell them and compare it to yeast.
Dont worry, every woman in the world will have or has a yeast infection at least one time in their lives.
I suggest you to visit soon a doctor, he will give you a better explanation.
Hope it works!

When you discharge off-white, milky mucus, it's your vagina cleansing itself so that you don't get a yeast infection. If you don't have itching, a sour smell or discomfort when urinating, I think you're okay. As long as the mucus is milk-like and not thick. You're fine. Your vagina is just cleaning out. This is actually common during pregnancy. I'm not saying you're pregnant. But this is how your vagina keeps clean from infections. If you're concerned, see your gyno.

Hun, have you ever had a yeast infection? This is possible. I'm hoping your partner is a regular partner, and is faithful. I suggest if you feel uncomfortable about the situation, that you go to the doctor. Goodluck

It's normal to have a couple of changes. Before and after my period, I get very heavy discharge. It's normal to experience things like this. If you are worried, make an appointment with your gynecologist.
