Anyone else have problems believing it is real. Missed 3 periods, nauseated, moods, tired, positive tests, etc. When does this seem real??? When do I believe it?

You've just got the jitters, Whenever you have a miscarriage you are always going to worry about future pregnancies and how they are going. I was exactly the same. I had 2 miscarriages last year before finally getting it right and I was worried too. 172 is an extremely strong heartbeat for your baby and as soon as you can see the heartbeat, the chances of miscarriage drops dramatically. It doesn't disappear completely, but it's a lot more likely to survive. Try and stop all the worrying because it's not doing you or the baby any good. Just take each visit to the doctor one at a time and enjoy the pregnancy.

When you have your first sonogram, that's when you know it's for real. But all the symptoms you described are right on to being pregnant.

Let me just share from personal experience: Well, I'm assuming this is your first baby. I still remember when I was pregnant with my oldest child, 25 years ago. I knew I was pregnant. I had all the symptoms, pregnancy test, sonogram etc. So it was a sure thing, right? But it never sank in totally until I saw her right after she came out of me. I mean they held her up and said, "It's a baby girl." And I was so stunned to see that the human (yet peculiarly alien looking) being they were holding up had just come out of my body. It was so strange. Twenty five years later, I can still travel back in my mind to that instant and remember that feeling I had. It was so odd. So, the believing it part doesn't quite come until your holding your baby in your arms.

When you pop! For me, it was around 18 weeks, when I started to show. Until you start to see and feel things a little bit more, it's hard to believe.

I'd quit worrying-based on the above, you're definietly pregnant..and should have had 1 ultrasound by now to confirm.

it became real for me when i could feel the baby move. i worried every day that my body was playing a joke on me and i wasn't really pregnant. you'll feel it in a few weeks and your mind will be at ease.

You wont believe it for a while. Wait a little while longer, when you REALLY start showing. Then you'll know.
