"I wish *I* could have a wife to help me out around the house."
"It must be nice. With two women, you can understand each other."

How do you react when your straight female friends and acquaintances think it's nicer to be with another woman than it actually is? I laugh, then tell them it's not as easy as they think. Usually I bring up menstrual cycles in sync.

How about y'all?

Give them credit....it seems like they are trying to say they are OK with your orientation....in a really clumsy way.

Str8 guys never do this to us gay guys btw.

In a lot of ways 2 women together is great. I think they understand more, but every relationship has problems and theirs always a lazy one. The person with the best relationship is probably the one who is single. Be your own best friend-but I would be to lonley.

I would simply tell them that it's the same thing as a male and female relationship with twice the pms.

its funny that people would assume that a lesbian relationship would be perfect, but its just like any other relationship. you'll have your ups and downs. gay or straight.
