You can mention it to your father or your uncle saying you'd like them for xmas from mom. and if there arn't any men in your life you can leave a picture from a magazine of boxers on the table for mom to see saying you would like those in your stocking or under the tree for xmas. that way you dont' have to talk to her about it and get all shy.

Perhaps buy a pair, and when mom does the laundry, tell her that you wanted to see if they would be more comfortable. Or ask her to let you buy some so that you can see if they would be more comfortable wearing.

Next time you go shopping for undies say you want to get boxers, or just pick them up.

simply ask hey mom./dad i was kinda wondering if you can possible buy me some boxers. they will hopefully say yes, and there you go!

Steal theirs until they wonder what's going on. When they ask you, just go, "Buy me some new ones and you'll get yours back." It's what I do. Works like a charm.
