There are eight kinds of Parts of Speech.
1.Noun- a noun is a name of a person, a place or a thing. For example- Kane, Canada etc.
2.Pronoun- a pronoun is a word used instead of a noun. For example-she, he, who, what etc.
3.Adjective- an adjective modifies a noun or pronoun. For example- good weather, clean clothes etc.
4.Verb- the word that expresses action is called a verb. For example- Neela sleeps.
5.Adverb- an adverb is a word used for qualifying the meaning of verb, adverb, adjective and the other parts of speech except noun and pronoun. For example- Merla speaks loudly.
6.Preposition- a preposition is a word that sits before a noun or a pronoun to show a relation with another word of the sentence. For example- in, on etc.
7.Conjunction- a conjunction is a word that used for joining the words and sentences of same rank or of opposite of nature. For example- but, and etc.
8.Interjection- an interjection is a word that is used in a sentence to express some feelings or emotion of mind. For example- hurrah, oh, hush, bravo etc.
