It would be the Buchaninite "Conservatives". They are very isolationalist and only believe in US affairs on US soil. The problem with this is that others covet all that the USA has, and would like to destroy our country in any way possible. It is for this reason that the US, in my opinion, cannot stay isolated or risk our eventual destruction.
Consider the scenario of the rise of Naziism; Had we not taken action at any time to enter WW2, as some would have liked, eventually the entire world would have been enveloped by Nazi Germany and/or Imperial Japan. It would have then been a very bleak picture of the USA fighting the world. Would we have won? Not likely.

Libertarians tend to believe this way. They also believe in people making decisions for themselves, rather than having the government do it for them. That ranges from issues such as abortion to gun ownership.
