I traveled back to 1912 and I was on a big boat and people were screaming because there was flood everywhere.

Sure...I've had dreams where I was a kid, sometime in my own past.
Also had one in which the society in the dream simply accepted as an everyday occurrence that people could fly by sheer force of will. Whether you interpret that as a different time period or just fantasy is up to you.
