Another sign of the moral rot which is being brought on by the U.S. Supreme Court's lie about the Constitution in Lawrence v. Texas.
Just you wait. The Supreme Dictators of the United State will probably say -- eventually -- that people have a constitutional right to go walking around naked in public.

Each state, in the USA, has different laws pertaining to what construes public indecency. In Arkansas, it is illegal to be naked in your vehicle, in a public place. Some guy went to jail because he went through the drive through at a fast food place naked.
Why they have such laws is a mystery to me. I think it's because
most of the law makers are strait laced prudes.
There are still nudist colonies and communities around where it is not illegal to be naked in them. I don't know where they are though. You could do a search online and find out.

In most states you can not be naked in public. those are public decency laws and in order to be "in trouble" someone has to see you and complain to the police. There are places you can be naked outside legally including nude beaches and the like. For the most part, it's because if someone sees you they might be offended. Silly huh? Since we are born that way.

Each government jurisdiction may interpret this differently, so be careful. While nudity may or may not be legal, the policeman may interpret your nudity as something else the law says or something he thinks the law says. You'd be better off to save nudity for appropriate areas like a beach, club, backyard with friends, sauna, etc. Unfortunately, this country still has a backwards view of nudity, but we're changing that one person at a time!

Yes its illegal to be naked in a car but not a motorhome unless you are driving - depending on WHERE YOU ARE!

It is legal to be naked. And it's legal to be naked in your car, as long as it's in your garage. No public indecency where my little eyes can see it.

Indecent exposure makes it a violation. If you drive your car real fast in traffic you will get your thrill then you can explain it to the cop.

because it's offensive to some people, and we tend to make laws, even about those things that offend us.
If you agree with the law, then it doesn't seem like a waste that we make laws about things that are not truly harmful...only offensive.
If you don't agree with the law, then you point out how ridiculous it is that we waste time passing laws about things that are only offensive and not truly harmful.
