If you have a regular 28-cycle, your best chances for getting pregnant range between day 10-16 of your cycle. You may want to chart your temperature every morning for the next few months, as this can tell you when you ovulate. Take your temp every morning at the same time and record it. The days before ovulation in a woman's cycle will be lower temperature days. Around ovulation, you will experience a sharp rise in your temperature that will last until the end of your cycle. This is how you can pinpoint your normal ovulation date for future cycles. You can also tell when you are ovulating by observing your cervical mucous or discharge. During ovulation, it tends to get very clear, watery, and stretchy, kind of like egg-white. Many women know when they are ovulating because they experience crampy or achiness around either their left or right ovary. If you are trying to get pregnant, I highly recommend the book "Taking Control of Your Fertility." It taught me more about how my own body works than I ever knew before.

Have sex at least every other day from the end of your period to around the time your next period is due. Also, I'm not sure if it mattered, but I always put a pillow under my hips for about 10 minutes afterwards. Supposedly that helps the sperm move faster through the high acidity of the vagina. It worked for me 3 times (all first month trying) .

what worked for me? we tried for over a year. then we broke up. he visited me two weeks later ( i'm friends with his sister and remained friend with him) one thing led to another and we ended up in the shower (one factor they say will lessen your chances). we were standing up (supposed to lessen chances), and he pulled out before doing his thing. two weeks later my period is late and the test is positive. (also, i wasn't sleeping with anyone else.) so, pretty much, enjoy your sexlife, because that's something we had stopped doing until we broke up. funny how things work. i'm now pregnant with our third child and it seems that all he has to do is look at me funny and i conceive (our children are 2 and 11 months, and this on is due in 4 months). so, take away the pressure of trying to conceive and it'll happen more easily.

Just have sex and enjoy (Hopefully you're married) Don't even worry about getting pregnant, then it takes longer. When it's far away from your mind, trust me, then it happens.

Perhaps you could chart your fertile days..This way you know when you ovulate and have a higher chance of conceiving

well, sir, when my wife was having trouble with this the doctor told us to do the duty whenever she was ovulating. he also gave us a large amount of hormone pills that increase the risk, i mean chances
