It depends. I am 5'2" and 130 pounds. When I got pregnant I really didn't show until I was farther along in my pregnancy because I have wider hips. The wider the hips the more you are able to tuck the baby inside (my own terminology) so you don't show as much at first. If you are a smaller framed person than you are more likely to show faster no matter how short or tall you are.
I hope that helped and you understood what I was trying to say :)

My wife is only 5 feet 3 and she didn't show much faster than the other women who were pregnant at the time, and she didn't show as much when the due date came. We have had 2 children so I feel pretty confident in saying that they probably won't. I think that whether a woman shows or not has a lot to do with hereditary factors. If anyone related to you showed quickly then it is likely that you will too. The shape of the hip bones seem to have a big impact on this since they are the ones that decide the location of the fetus as it gets older.
Either way being pregnant is an honor. Oh I know I will never be able to totally understand it but I do know that my wife and I love our children more than anything in the world. Having a baby is one of the most spiritual experiences you will ever have.

Yes they do. I have a daughter that is shorter than her two sisters by at least 7 inches. She is 5'1" and she starts showing good by her third month. Her sisters never showed until much later. They all were pregnant at the same time 3 years ago and they all had the same OBGYN. My shortest daughter asked about it and was told that because she is so much shorter than her sisters, the baby had no where to go inside of her. She started sticking out not long after we all found out she was expecting. She had to start wearing maternity wear much earlier too.

I think that every pregnancy is different. I am 5' tall and 110 post pregnancy and didn't start showing much with my first til I was in my second trimestermaybe about five months, with my second I showed much sooner well into my third month and now pregnant again and began showing in my third month as well. Its different for everyone I think.

Strictly a guess but i'm guessing the smaller people show sooner coz the general build, men who are 6"+ and 16St show it less than someone who is 5" and 13st

some woman can, and do, others wont show until later in their pregnancy. Usually 5 months is when it comes apparent that someone is in fact pregnant.

I don't think so. I'm only 5'1 and started showing more into my 2nd trimester. By the end though you look like a blimp!
