Yes.
He's been in prison since 1971 which amounts to 35 years.
Crazy.
I used to be obsessed with him and other serial killers. Not because i'm a psycho but because i'm genuinely intrigued by the criminal world.
Here's an interesting fact:
Marilyn Manson...
His real name is actually Brian Warner.
But he chose Marilyn because of Marilyn Monroe (to exemplify good) and Manson because of Charles Manson (to exemplify bad).

Yes Charles Manson is still alive and crazy as hell. I'm not absolutely positive, but I think he has been in prison for about 38 years. Here is a site that might answer your question about how long he has been in prison.

I found this on wikipedia
He is serving a life sentence in California's Corcoran State Prison, and will be up for parole in 2007 at the age of 73. Manson has always maintained his innocence of the crimes

yes he is still alive, he's been in prison for about 37 years. he had life in prisonment but he will be up for parole next year at age 73

Yes he is still alive and kicking,he is seating very nicely in prison and has been there for at 25years or more he has always been denied parole.

yes, for over 30 years i think
wow....i just looked him up on wikipedia and it said that he will be eligible for parole next year! not that he would get it, but that's still a scary thought....and he was convicted and sentenced to death in 1971
