Ive heard if its over 140 its a boy and if its under 140 its a girl. it is an old wives tale but it proved right for me. Im having a boy and his heart rate is well over 150.

No, I was told by my OB that is an old wives' tale. You will know for sure (or pretty much for sure) at the ultrasound at 20 weeks. They will be able to see everything then.

I've never heard anything about a correlation between heartbeat rate and the baby's sex.

LOL over 170 it's a boy...well then that means my ex husband is a female (interesting since he fathered our daughter) his heart rate was around what our daughter's was about 150.

it is an previous different halves thoughts, yet fairly this is all a myth. I actually have had a "boy" be a woman and a "female" be a boy in accordance with heartbeats! My modern-day infant has been both boy and lady with heart costs!
