I basically agree...would stick "Seven Samurai" in place of "High and Low".
And I'd give an honorable mention to "The Hidden Fortress"....just because George Lucas always claimed it was an inspiration for "Star Wars".

Seven Samurai - placed the whammy on me while i replaced into 12. First information of what a director fairly does. Ran - his version of King Lear Thrown of Blood - his take of Macbeth Rashômon severe and coffee seen maximum of his action pictures, TCM did an entire days worth not too before.
