My boyfriend likes it...I figure its somewhere between the late 60s and 80s at some point...
He says its called the House Upon the Hill, but I can't find that ANYWHERE, so i think he is wrong....its supposedly about a married man who is with another woman, and keeps telling her to wait and wait, and then eventually she gets fed up with his crap and marries some other dude, and they live in a house on a hill, and then the once-married dude realizes that he made a mistake....
Anyone heard of it?

Fleetwood Mac had a song in the 1987 called Big Love, where "house on the hill" occurred several times in the lyrics. I don't remember the details of what the song was about.

I don't think it's a song. I think he made it up in an effort to tell you something.
