It all depends on how long your cycle is. My OB told me that ovulation is always 14 days BEFORE your next period (it's called the luteal phase). For someone on a 28 day cycle, that's day 14. For someone on a 35 day cycle, it's day 21. If your cycles are pretty regular, that's easy to figure out. For someone with irregular cycles, it means you need to look over the past few months and see if you can get an average and then have sex from days 11-17 before your next expected period. Kinda confusing, huh? Then you can factor in the life of sperm, which is typically 24-72 hours in the female body. Sperm last longer around ovulation and shorter when not ovulating. Basically, if you want to get pregnant, have sex at least every other day. It worked for me 3 times! Each time I got pregnant the first month trying. What you experienced may have been implantation bleeding, but I never experienced that.

Ovulation is tremendously plenty 14 days previously the beginning up of your subsequent era (could be between 10 and sixteen days, under 10 is non-practicable for being pregnant) so as that would desire to help you ascertain whilst to do o.ok.tests. yet i might chart BBTs to purely remember to are ovulating for particular, and this will additionally provide you some tricks as to once you're ovulating and for this reason whilst to BD. Your chum who have been given pregnant ideal after her era would have been having short cycles. Sperm can stay for 5 days in a fertile environment so as that could additionally account for it. And confident, verify for EWCM that's greater solid than o.ok. and totally loose!!!!!! good luck!

There are ways to tell specifically when you're ovulating...kits you can buy, temperatures you can take.

Pregnancy can technically happen at any time, assuming you and your partner are able to conceive.

I don't know about the spotting and "implantation bleeding." I've never heard of such a thing.

I assume you're trying to get pregnant? I suggest buying one of the ovulation kits and going for it.
