what do you mean? they extracted dna from amber that contained a mosquito that had sucked the blood of a dinosaur. they substituted all missing dna with that of a frog and basically made the embryos.

BUT i was 13 when this movie came out and even i knew that a female frog can change to a male when there are none to repopulate the species. so i knew the dinosaurs would do the same. PLUS the mosquito in the movie was a male mosquito which doesn't suck blood. two major problems.

Genetic engineering techniques were used to extract dino DNA from the mosquitos traped in a piece of amber.

Suposedly this DNA was treated with other GE techniques and was cloned to make living dinosaurs.

I liked the movie but the genetic science of extracting 65 million yr old DNA and making it grow are likely impossible or very very far in the future .

Wooly Mamoths and Mastadons, two species of elephants like animals who lived in North America and died out only 15,000 might be possibe in the next decade or two. It might be possible to extract usuable DNA from a mommoth frozed 15,000 years , clone it and have the cloned cells gestate in a live elephant.

Amazing things will happen in genetic engineering in the next few decades. Maybe you could have a career doing this work?

i do no longer help that as i do no longer help those who opt to "play God." Eugenics is a very evil field. How did you already know what constitutes "popularity" or "ugliness?" they are only evaluations. And who says shyness is a flaw? in truth, shyness isn't even genetic. it really is a realized/advanced personality trait. you could't breed it out.
