This is a very serious question. I can't figure out why my parents won't let us live in Uganda or the Phillipines. Sure, maybe some people like to ski, but do you really think sagebrush and scragly bushes in hard dirt make for a pretty landscape? Please, tell me why you'd ever want to live in Utah! Perhaps then I can understand my parents better and come up with a more persuasive argument to go to Greece.

They must be Mormons and thats where their Homeys live silly.....I think the pioneers tried to beat feet out of there before they were toast. The Mormons comprise most of the population there. They chose Utah so nobody would bother them...because nobody in there right mind wants to live in that environment...The Mormons could practice their polygamy in Utah....I suggest you go to Greece as soon as possible

Utah also has a lot of history. If you've ever seen a "wild west" movie, there's a lot of that atmosphere in the state. Don't forget, you're pretty close to Vegas and LA, too! It's safer than Uganda or the Philippines, and cheaper than Greece.
