How do I make a backup for my Samsung MM-A920?

I have tried for three days too connect this computer cable that came with the phone from the phone too the computer so that I can make a backup by going to my phone too send too my computer. It's also supposed too be used as a modem and I downloaded every driver from sprint and can't even get that too work. My husbands Motorola has a cable as well and he can goo to his phone from his computer, Why can't I????? HELP

Make sure the cable you are using is compatabile with your device. I have a cable that is for my digital camera but it fits my phone...but, it is not compatible with my phone even though it fits.

Review your manual and make sure you have the correct cable. Might be that the cable that came with your phone is not the correct cable. I hope that helps.
