Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot,
But the Grinch...
...who lived just north of Whoville, DID NOT!

After 40 years, it's still as charming as ever (and the Jim Carrey feature was no slouch, either).

It's funny you asked that because I was watching this with my 5 yr old daughter right now. I think it would be when he realizes he did something wrong by taking all their presents. I like the way he talks too. The version with Jim Carey is hilarious, I think it was my favorite one.

When the Grinch tied an antler on his dog Max's head. The look on Max's face is priceless. It reminds me of my yearly attempt to dress my dogs up for a Christmas picture. It's so funny - my dogs get the exact same look of sad resignation as Max has. The animators of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas were geniouses, if you ask me.

I liked when little "Cindy-Lou Who, who was no more than two" came out of the bedroom and saw the Grinch stuffing the tree up the chimney. The Grinch had been caught by this little Who daughter
Who'd got out of bed for a cup of cold water.
She stared at the Grinch and said, "Santy Claus, why,
"Why are you taking our Christmas tree? WHY?"
But, you know, that old Grinch was so smart and so slick
He thought up a lie, and he thought it up quick!
"Why, my sweet little tot," the fake Santy Claus lied,
"There's a light on this tree that won't light on one side.
"So I'm taking it home to my workshop, my dear.
"I'll fix it up there. Then I'll bring it back here."
And his fib fooled the child. Then he patted her head
And he got her a drink and he sent he to bed.
And when Cindy-Lou Who went to bed with her cup,
HE went to the chimney and stuffed the tree up!

The only thing I like and have liked about the Grinch since I was a kid, was the song.

This is my favorite MOVIE!!!!!My favorite part in both movies was his evil grin. In the cartoon he is very sneaky and shows his evil personality. I was amazed how well they copied the smile in the jim Carrey one. I also like the music. The classic "you're a mean one" is the best!!
