I was driving to my doctors appointment my due date is christmas day and i have to go once a week for a check up.I was driving 55 in a 40 mile an hour zone and was talking on the phone arguing with my bf Vinny . I was pulled over , i freaked out started to cry, and threw my cell phone/prada bag at the officer.Ended up in a lot of trouble and though i was not arrested i do have to go to court and am really scared?what can i do if i tell my bf he will be really upset?

I was charged with assault of an officer,and was ticketed with a speeding ticket/reckless driving.

Oh goodness. Well pleading pregnancy is probably not going to work with the judge. If you are due in a couple of weeks, you probably won't be able to make your court date. I would just explain to the judge what was going on and that you really didn't mean to do it. he may have a heart and understand. Good luck!
What did they charge you with, then I can tell you if you need a lawyer. i was a paralegal.

You did some things wrong. 1. you do not drive and talk on cell
2. 15 mph over speed limit
3. You should not have assaulted the
officer. He calls it as he sees it
Plead not guilty due to officers lack of service due to emotional distress and onset of labor pain and suffering/undue stress
In my opinion, you had a lot of guts to do above and want excused of crime....An attorney will probably take your money and refuse to defend or order you to plead guilty at last minute...
You should be open with bf because of future communications is at stake and this is basis of honesty...I would still fight it; relax at hearing
Total outcome would be higher insurance rates and fine for over speed limit; The assault is the icky...Tell the cop you will nickname the kid his initials?

Your best chance is a lawyer. Even though you weren't arrested, they could still charge you with assulting a police officer. You may get some probation, or maybe some anger management classes.
You should tell him. If your having his child, now is no time to keep secrets.

Say you were emotionally unstable. I think it will be ok. Most judges will understand that you were very hormonal because you were pregnant. Don't stress too much. It's bad for your baby.
