I give out baskets full of cookies, candies, hot chocolate mix. All homemade. If you buy or have access to dry powdered milk; there is a recipe for hot chocolate on the package that is delicious. I put them in pretty inexpensive tins, and put bows on the baskets. Hope this helps!

Tell the true story of what actually took place on December 25th. When the angel Gabriel visited Mary and told her that she is blessed among women and she would bring forth the Christ Child. And to name Him Yeshua, ( Jesus ) Tell them how the Holy Spirit conceived in her the Saviour, Emmanuel, God with us.

42 Club crackers
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup slivered almonds
Place crackers in a single layer on a foil lined cookie sheet or oblong pan. Over medium heat, melt butter. Add sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for two minutes. Remove from heat, and add vanilla. Pour evenly over crackers. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from pan, cutting apart if necessary. Cool.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup softened butter
3 ouncese cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg yolk (reserve white)
2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
In large bowl combine sugars, butter, cream cheese, salt, extracts and egg yolk; blend well. Stir in flour until well blended. Chill dough for 2 hours. Pre-heat oven to 375 F. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough, one-third at a time to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shaped with lightly floured cookie cutter. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Leave cookie plain, or brush with lightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake for 7-10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely on wire racks.
