There is no way that they are not going to be upset. You are their baby girl and they want what's best for you. Thank being said, they also want you to be safe and will do whatever it takes to keep you from getting a bad disease. Talk to them, expect some yelling, possibly a grounding, and a lot of love.

There is no easy way to tell your parents that you are sexually active when you are so young. They will probably be freaked out no matter what you say or how you say it. The only way you can prevent this is to not tell them.
If you want to be open and honest with them about it though, the best thing you can do is be just that. Tell them (in a mature manner) what you did, what you learned from it, and accept the consequences of how they decide to handle it.

Although I believe your way to young to be sexually active, I have to say if I was your parent, even though I would freak out I still would have to respect the fact that you are smart enough to be honest with me. Do the right thing and just spill the beans.

Ok, my advice to you, me being only a year older would be to relax, this things happens a lot, an I'm not saying its good because it isn', I'm of course not in your position, cause I'm so carefully watched, an i wouldn't attempt that until marriage , but If I were in your position what I would do, theirs really not a smooth way to put this, but I would tell your mom one day when she isn't stressed bring her to the side an simply tell her that you've had sex, course most reaction would be backhanded, but just tell her, an if she goes for tears cry your eyes out! thats all my advice honey, but ya know who says you have to tell them.

There is no right way to tell them. Just sit them down without distractions, and just start talking about it. Or maybe talk to your mom first. Bring up maybe taking birth control with her, explain to her you want to be safe. The safer the better.
If you're too afraid to do that, try writing your mom a letter. I suggest your mom because she may be more understanding and not so awkward.
Good luck.

I reeeally don't think they want to know. Just stop. Don't tell them you're not a virgin. They don't need to know unless you're about to become a parent or have an STD. Why hurt them that way?

Well if you are a girl, tough luck.If you are a boy, then man, right on.Don't worry about that, just use protection, and watch who you sleep with.I had sex first time when I was 12,so what. But around 16 it started to happen more often. But I always used protection, and was careful.Told only my dad when I was 16.And then he gave me advice:''Watch what you put your dick into''!And that was the first time he used that d-word.I still laugh about it.He never told mom.We are pals, funny.

Keep a condom in your wallet and tell your mom to get something out of it for you. That will bring the subject up and take from there. It worked for me!!!!!!!!!
