Why are so many people still in Denial about the U.S. Government blowing up the WTC?

It's just too obvious. Concrete and steel Buildings don't get pulverized into dust because of a small fire. What about Larry Silversteins Building 7 ? He said he had the fire dept "pull" the building? Just like that? No No No......it takes weeks to set up a demolition and the fire dept doesn't do controlled demolitions.

You simply have too much faith in the American people’s ability to face the truth. Most Americans would rather live in a delusion that is happy and cheery than face the harshness of reality. That is why; regardless of how obvious it is that our government was complicit in the events of 9/11, most individuals will suspend their common sense and their basic knowledge of physics in order to maintain their misguided sense of patriotism. Patriotism in this form isn’t so much an allegiance to this country than it is a fervent religion. For what is religion, after all, other than belief without supporting evidence. To convince a diehard right winger that Bush and his cohorts could actually orchestrate 9/11 for their own benefit would be about as difficult as convincing the Pope that Jesus was not the son of God or convince a Muslim that Muhammad was a charlatan.

It was a demolition. There is no denying that. Building 7 simply crumbled. No plane hit it.

Bush had been in office a little over 9 months.

Do you really think he was in a position to get trusted people into key positions, not only in his administration, but throughout the press and the entire D.C. beaurocracy in that short a time?

You all are missing the whole argument. The fact of the matter is the WTC was not real, just a myth, just like WMD's were not real, just a myth.

So in reality, since the WTC never existing, planes could not have crashed into them and still whole argument is moot.

Why don't YOU wake up? Think about this for a moment. Do you really think that NO ONE in the government would have an attack of conscience over a crime of this magnitude? If the government did it, there is NO way they could keep it hidden, the logistics of destroying those buildings are too huge to even contemplate doing it on the sly. Nope, the fanatics did it with the help of a complacent nation, and a group of leaders who couldn't imagine the lengths a small group of fanatics would go to to send a message and unleash their brutality on innocent civilians.

1) the wtc towers were steel structures with concrete floors (about the only thing that was concrete in their construction). they didn't pulverize into dust. there were sections of the building that were larger than the cranes that had to be brought into clear the area out. Some weighing as much as 6 tons.
2) Silverstein's quote, was in relation to the PULLING OF FIREFIGHTERS From teh building. To "pull" down a building is to actually PULLING down by cables via tractors

Anyone that watches the video in slow-mo, and then watches a video of a planned demolition can see the comparison.

Hello......you call a jet fully loaded with fuel crashing into a building a "small fire"? Did you not watch the television on 9/11 and see them crash into the buildings? Building 7 was collateral damage to the WTC collapse. Why are we still talking about this? Terrorist brought down the towers because they hate the U.S.

Well, unless you just want to be the local idiot, yelling conspiracy I suggest you actually show scientic proof that a airplane full of jet fuel couldn't cause enough destruction to weaken the structure of a skyscraper.

Do you happen to know the explosive potential for a fully fueled 747? Or the ballistic potential of the speed they were traveling? Or the structural potential of the WTC?
