When ever I put the battery pack into my controller, the light for the 4th controller(the bottom right) lights up??

to add detail to this question, do you have 4 controllers or only one? if only one, hold the middle X button or use the small button on top to help reset the controller. also attempt to reset the controller finder on the console by pressing that small button as well.
if you have 4 available, but you want the one you want to use, just turn off all of the other ones so that they arent seen by the system
also just try restarting your system as well

Did you sync the controler? that may be the problem.
