lets put aside the michael richards(kramer) controversy that happen last month. Its still pretty bad what he said to the african american community, but what do you guys think of the shows history from the nine seasons they did. I rate it a 8.5 out of 10. However everytime I see kramers character know especially when hes around an african american it gets me back to what he said. but I still love this show mainly because of other great characters like jerry, george, elaine and of course newman

9 out of 10. I love the show. I've watched every episode. What happened with Michael Richards doesn't affect how I view the show at all. It's still hilarious.

I think the richards thing will slowly diminish. He's only human and did not hurt anyone. I love the show, alot. It has not been paralleled since it's farewell. I would give it a 9.7 if you do not count the first 2 seasons, but an 8.9 if you include them.

Why in the world did not Putty get a spinoff? =)

I loved the first 6 years....the premise was just SO different from everything else around. Watching the characters find their nitch within the show and with each other was great TV.

The last three seasons, though, were disappointing. As for Richards'callous remarks, unthinkable and shameful.

dismissing the actors outside life- both before and after seinfeld.... a rating for the show depends on which season you are speaking of. some of the first season stuff really lacks. the final episode was a big let-down. the middle stuff is probably the best. id probably give that a 7.

I have only seen Season 3, and it took a while to warm up to but it turned out to be extremely hilarious and I can easily see it being one of my favourite shows if I continue to watch!
Season 3 was a solid 8/10 I think!

Rates a 6!
Sometimes when I look back I can't believe all the stars of today that had a part on that show. Looking back it shows me how utterly childish, snobbish, & petty all the characters were. I can't believe we all bought into that hype back then!! It is an "idiot box"
My fave was George's mother.

Putting Michael Richards aside, I'd say a 9. One point for each season? :-)
