dude I've found to find a real good mmorpg you have to pay. well that's by my standards. but if you're strapped for cash than I've heard nothing but good things from runescape fans. my brother and a few of my cousins love it. so i can vouch for these other guys when they say runescape is good.
If you ever have 15/month to spare than City of Villains is freaking awesome. as is City of Heroes.
