Ive been married 10 years the last 7 have been hell, I cant financally leave now, and he does not know how I feel, so I want to know if anyone out there has been through this and how you delt with it, please dont suggest counseling, didnt work

i feel for you, i went thru the same thing! you have to leave! because it will never be that the right time, and living in an unhappy relationship, is toxic to your mind,body and spirit. if you are truly that miserable, any other living situation that you put yourself into, even if its temporary, will be much better than where you are now. take it from me you cannot put a price on happiness and piece of mind. life is too short. good luck honey i will pray for you

I left mine walking. 1986, i grabbed my 14 year old daughter, and left the trans am, and a $150.000.00 home. I was without a dime in my pocket. I stole food to feed my daughter, got help with food stamps, and section 8 housing. I'm doing fine now, I work for myself, and own my own business. It's very hard at first, but just think of how bad you can't stand that person, and that should give you the strength to keep on keeping on. He threatened to have me killed, and kill my lawyer, when i left him. I said to myself, it's not worth my life, he can have it all. Now he has nothing, because he's gambled it all away. He beat me like Ike beat Tina back in the day. I'm glad i left him .. Hope I helped you. Oh yes I married him in 1966! And left him in 1986. He made our lives a living hell. It was so bad I never trusted another man. I would say, don't stay things may take a turn for the worst. Some women are in prison now for not leaving, they end up going off the deep end. Who knows what might happen.

I feel for you I am in the the same situation but life is too short and every day is gone is gone and will never come back. Try to get a job or go back to school so if you decide to leave you will be able to support yourself and your kids. I have a girlfriend who left her husband with no money, she got help from the city 8 section housing and food stamp. You should not feel ashamed as long as you do not steal from others you are OK. God will take care of you and remember you are not alone.

Been there did that for fifteen years one day I just got up packed up two bags and left without no where to go realy stayed at differnt places for a year or so if I didnt leave , I would have lost my mind, I left everything I had even my kids, I regret but if I hadnt done that I would had comitted an aufull thing I think, I saved my self from a nervouse breakdown and possible violence in front of them ,,, I was at the vergew of comitting suicied, but I left. and everything eventualy fell into place, I cant say I dont regret, cause I do, but Im happily married now to someone I wish I had met first but what can you do?I left a fifteen year nightmare and lonelyness behind me, Im not saying I dont think about this alot ,,,,,, but, if I hadnt done the most extreem thing I can imagine I dont know where Id be today maybe a nut house????? Get out,,,as fast as you can. for your own sanity.go for it lifes too short.

Get some help from friends and leave. Even if you rent a room for a while. If you not happy, dont waste the next 7 years of your life. the first year might be tough btu once you get on your feet, it will be worth it. life is too short to be unhappy. make it happen. dont let the word "can't" enter into your vocabulary.
