This is a math question my math teacher posted on our school bog.
I have no idea on how to do it. Can you please explain it to me....

Dena, Bobbi, Tamayra are in the same class. Their last names are Wilson, Jone and Malkier, in no particular order. Each has a different ammount of money for lunch.
Dena has more money then either Bobby or Wilson.
Tamayra has more money then Jones but less then Malkier.
What are the full names of the girls in order of the ammount of money they have, from least to greatest?
Explain or show me how you got your answer.

1.Dena has more money than Bobby or Wilson--- since Dena and Bobby's first names are mentioned that leaves Tamarya as Tamarya Wilson.
2.Tamarya (Wilson) has more money than Jones but less than Malkier ---since #1 states that Dena had the most money, it's logical that Tamara has less money than Dena, therefore,Dena is Dena Malkier. That leaves us with Bobby Jones with the least amount of money.
Bobby Jones has the least amount of money
Tamarya Wilson has the middle money
Dena Malkier has the greatest amount of money
The strategy is called the process of elimination.

Well since Dena has more money than Bobby and Wilson, she has the most money and her last name is not Wilson, neither is Bobby's. Tamayra Wilson has more money than Jones, Dena's last name cannot be Jones because she has the most money. Bobby Jones has the least amount of money, Tamayra Wilson has the middle and Dena Malkier has the most.

Well, here is the first Clue "Dena has more money then either Bobby or Wilson."
You notice here that neither Dena or Bobbi can have the Last name Wilson... so you now know one of the girls, "Tamayra Wilson".
This clue also tells you that Dena is the richest.
The next Clue says "Tamayra has more money then Jones but less then Malkier." Therefore Jones is the poorest and Malkier is the richest... you will remember earlier that Dena is the richest, so Dena must be Malkier
