If there is no blood- don't panic. Clean him up and put him in his cage FAR awayfrom everything so his little racing heart can calm down.
See how he is doing in the morning.

You need to tell your parents. Just because you do not see any blood does not mean that the hampster might not be bleeding on the inside. More than likely he is ok with a few cuts here and there, but all in all tell your parents and get him checked out. Would'nt you want your sister to do the same if something happened to your dogs? Everything will turn out ok.

If the hamster isn't bleeding, dry the little guy off and put him back in his cage, and watch him for a bit. And keep an eye on the dog too so he doesn't do it again.

first of all.....keep them away from each other....they probably should'nt even be in the same house because the dog is still an animal and his instinct is to maul small furry animals.....and he can smell him anywhere in the house....ur just teasing the dog in a sense. And the poor hamster....just keep him away from the dog....next time he will probably die just from the sight of the dog.
Don't be mad at the dog....it is his animal instinct. just scold him and tell him No.
You may have to find a way to comfort the hamster to calm him down....he could die just from the fright he got.Hold him and pet him if he is used to that....or just cover his cage so he feels hidden and safe.

Poor little thing.
Dry him off as best you can, make him a comfy bed out of a towel and keep a close eye on him.
If it's just breaking your little sister's heart, you can take him to a small animal veterinarian. (Just ask if they treat small animals, many do)
Be prepared that the hamster may die. Their little hearts just give out after that much stress.

my cat got a hold of my hamsters one day while everyone was gone and my little brother left my door open on accident, and at first we were really scared that they were going to die, but we took a Qtip and some peroxide and rubbed it where they looked injured and put them in their cage and they were fine. try that and if he starts or continues to act strange you might want to see a vet

Just kind of watch it and if it's acting different than usual, take it to a vet. For all you know, it may be okay. Wishing you luck with that.
