well, one of your numbers is off.... but what you need to do is find out how much is left fraction wise, and whatever that is is 18. so, (this isnt the answer) but if mexico makes up 1/4, then 1/4 is 18, which would mean that the whole is 64, so you find how many is in half, a quarter, etc.... does that help???

you dont know the total number so let that be "x". You know that 1/2 of "X" are from US...etc. So model it like this...

1/2x+1/4x + 1/8x + 1/4x+ 1/32x + 18 = x.

Solve for x
