No! Firstly, the sun is like a gigantic nuclear furnace whereas fire is a chemical process of oxidation - two different processes.
The corona (atmosphere) of the sun appears as though it is in flames, but in actuality it is radiation following gravitational fields.
Secondly, the mass is much more than the earth and as such the earth would "fall" into the sun. However, the demise of the sun is that it will expand to a red giant and engulf the earth first

The sun is much more massive than the Earth and the Earth is held in orbit around the sun by the sun's gravity. Not the other way around. The sun is not "up" and the Earth is not "down". If anything is going to fall, it will be the Earth - into the sun.
But there's no reason for our orbit around the sun to decay that way. More likely, the sun will enter a red giant phase some 4 to 5 billion years from now, when it runs out of hydrogen and starts burning helium. When that happens the sun will expand in diameter, probably past the orbit of Mars - in which case the Earth will be vaoprized when the outer reaches of the sun's atmosphere collide with the planet.
But we'll be long gone by then, by billions of years. So who cares?

The sun is not fire as we know it on earth. Its a huge nuclear fusion engine. And no, it can't "fall into earth", the earth doesn't have the gravity it would take to pull the sun here. The sun is millions of times more massive than earth.

NO!!!!!!!!!! it is a big ball of gas that burns because of nuclear reactions inside its core, but it WILL NOT fall into us one day. in 5 billion years or something it might implode or explode, we aren't sure yet, but it WILL NOT fall into us. that is not one of the options. WE WILL NOT BE CRUSHED/BURNT UP BY THE SUN CRASHING INTO US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who ever told you that needs to do his research.

maybe if the sun's mass increases dramatically, which increases gravitational force, which pulls earth towards it.
