what all to do in vegas? Planning to see mystere..what seats best to book?Do they allow kids at this show?Is it worth going to hoover dam?

Mystere is fabulous. Many people contend it is the best of all the Cirque du Solei productions.
It is also a show that children can enjoy. My daughter Olivia was two when we brought her to the Treasure Island to see the performance. She sat as if she were hypnotized, completely enthralled and for a year afterwards she would take out the program and look at the beautiful photographs and recall her experience.
Be sure to pick up a free copy of Las Vegas Weekly. It has very good listings of all entertainment options, which in Las Vegas are always many and varied.http://lasvegasweekly.com/

If you have questions regarding age restrictions for shows go to www.Vegas.com and search shows. As far as I know kids are allowed five and up but I could be wrong. Double check to make sure.
Vegas isn't the best place for kids as there isn't much to do with them in tow. The Hoover Dam is alright...very touristy and it is just well....a dam.
There are a lot of things to do that are somewhat family oriented:
---M&M World/Coke A Cola Factory
---Gameworks
---Bellagio Conservatory
---Circus, Circus
---Mandalay Bay sea creature thingy
---Stratosphere
Do some more research. Have fun and be save.

Las Vegas is a city of sin and gamble. People smoke. It's not a good place for a 2 year old unless you want to train your kid to gamble.
Try Disneyland or leave your 2 year old at home.
