Actually I was looking to buy a Christmass Ornament. That would donate the money to a charity for the something like the Humane Society. I have been looking around. I only found one so far.

Look in the YellowPages for some type of animal shelter in your area and call them; I'msure they would love a donation! Good luck!

The Humane Society, World Wildlife Fund, and the ASPCA all have websites where they can accept donations. Should be very easy to just do a web search.
If you'd like to act more locally, just look in the phone book for your nearest shelter, and show up with cash or pet food, they'll always take it.
There are a few more I know of like breed specific dog rescues and wildlife programs that you can look into.

You can donate to any local shelter or animal welfare center. They'll be happy and will even give you a receipt, and is usually tax deductable. You might want to research before donating, make sure they are legit.

well sometimes in drugstorea you'll see a sad puupy dog shaoed container that says ' animal shelter ' on it then you put money in there but i think the drugstore uses it... and if you don't like that put a small envelope of money go to the animal shelter and ask to see the main person or ask where donations are made.

Yes! Animal Humane Association, your local shelter, ASPCA, and other groups all need money to feed, house, and provide for the animals they care for. I think it is a wonderful idea to give them money so they can continue to provide these important, and necessary, services to animals who need homes....

Call any of the spca's in your area and tell them you would like to donate. You can also go online and give. They will greatly appreciate it!!

go to your local petsmart or petco to donate some money or go to petsmart.com and look for the link that tells you to donate.
