He won a gold glove. Former MVP who should have won it this year after his best season his career except they give it to some kid who's team that didnt even make the playoffs. Pujols for player of century anybody?

I'm not bitter. Why would I be bitter after my team did the unthinkable and beat the Muts and the Dechoke Tigers.

Hell No!!

Got struck out by Tommy Glavine 2 or 3 times in a game 1 of NLCS, and after that said bad things about Tommy? hahaha... Pathetic!!

I think he is the best player in the game right now, he hits in the clutch and he is an excellent fielder. He was also a very good fielder a third base, but of course, since the Cardinals have the best fielding third baseman since Brook Robinson or Mike Schmidt, he had to be moved to first base.
I do not have a problem with being the MVP last year, his team was in the playoff hunt most of the year because of his bat. But I do think that if Pujols was playing on a team on the east coast or the west coast, he would have been voted MVP.

Best player? Depends on what you mean. So many opinions but I would put him up there, no denying that. Player I would want if my team was down a run late in the game.

1. Albert Pujols
2. David Ortiz
3. Barry Bonds
4. Manny Ramirez
5. Ichiro
6. Ryan Howard
7. Derek Jeter
8. Hideki Matsui
9. I guess...Alex Rodriguez

As far as hitting a baseball hes one of the best,
But he really put his foot in it in the post-season
with his remarks about Glavin and Howard.I don't know what gets into these guys they have all the money,he now has a ring,MVP trophy and all the other amenities that goes with being a major leaguer.I believe alot of fellow players have lost a lot of respect for him I know I have.

in the NL theres still no player i would wanna face, one on one with a game on the line, and that player is Barry Bonds!!!!!!! if this wasnt true why do they keep walking him at 42 years old???? but howard and pujols are a close second.

in the AL thats easy either Big Papi or A-Rod. okay arod basher let me have it for choosing him. arod has produced more better numbers than pujols this century. go ahead just look it up. if it wasnt for the yankees moving him to 3rd base he wouldn't have all those errors. if jeter is as good they say why didnt they move him to 3rd and see if he does any better than arod. and big papi would you wanna face him in boston with the field being sooo short!!!!!

clearly bonds, arod, pujols, papi in that order

no doubt he is the best. He has an amazing glove which helps his team out. We all know hes an amazing power and average hitter but the thing most ppl dont know is that he very rarely strikes out....he always puts the ball in play

I'm a Houston fan. Pujols is an Astro-killer. As much as I can't stand to see him step up to the plate against my boys and would like to see him disappear, I must admit he is amazing player. Best in baseball? I don't know. But he's darn close.

And he can hit the heck outta Brad Lidge.

Heck yes! He plays 1st base for the St. Luis Cards. He is a really good hitter! Hope this helps.

Pujols' defense has improved immensely. At first, he was all bat and no defense. Now he has both. He doesn't have much speed but that's his only drawback. Yes, he is the best by far. He's so consistent.
