Add 10 to both sides, then multiply both sides by 8.

add v to both sides x, multiply by 8, and get y=answer.

it shoul'd be y=24

add 10 to -7
multiply by 8

so...

y/8 > (or equal to) 3
y> (or equal to) 24
therefore -7 > or equal to -7

then if something else is required you know what y is.
