Most pregnancy tests don't pick up on the HCG levels until at least a day after a woman's period is due. It sounds like she took a test too soon, but based on most women's cycles, that run anywhere from 25-33 days, it is highly unlikely that she is pregnant, based on the day the two of you had sex. It's not impossible though, so you may want to have her take another test, just wait until her next period is due. And think about either using some protection next time, or she may want to think about birth control pills. Good luck to both of you!

For the most part, ovulation nearly occurs 10-14 days after a period ends and 10-14 days before the next is due to start. You can probably rest assured that you're safe. In the future....think "protection and safe".....bring out the ol' rubbers in the rain:)

when a female is menstruating she has already ovulated ( which is when she can become pregnate) if it was the third day that she was having her period then you are safe, the egg has already left the body and there will not be another one coming along for about a week or two. but you can also tell, if she doesn't get her next period it could mean that she is pregnat, but it is also a little to early to tell. so you may have to wait until janurary to find out if she gets her next cycle, if she doesn't get her next cycle, congrats! but she can get tested by a obgyn around the end of december and they should tell you.

look before u leap.don't try this risk anymore,u should put on condom 4 safety.as a matter of fact,7 days before n 7 days after of her menstruation is considered very safe to do that,r u very sure it was 6th day?home test is normally not so accurate,so u r better take her 4 a thorough checkup by DR.

best wishes.
